One day, somewhere in New Zealand...
A FEW EXTREMELY LEVEL-HEADED PEOPLE GOT TOGETHER, and decided that using another form of money, to buy things, help get the economy back on track, support local businesses, and make their existing money go further, was a REALLY GOOD THING.
Greece did it, some years back.
The idea was to create, and use, a local currency that delivered more benefits than they currently had, and get financial relief whilst doing it, also a good thing.
MONEY KIT, is a project; four years in the making, started just after covid erupted all over the world stage.
A successful money group was launched on Facebook who then shut it down.
The original community concept failed to launch, because many people wanted the result but were not prepared to do the work, which fell to one person and a few staunch supporters.
In order to survive, and successfully launch, the project has to either become a commercial venture that, out of necessity, will pay taxes and operate as a New Zealand based trading entity for the foreseeable future, or be entirely community driven. The result will be ultimately decided by the user base.
Logic says the preference should be for the project to be community-based and decentralised.
What you are viewing is our first step into the world of digital currency payment software. The next goal in MONEY KIT'S evolution is to launch this early version, and the app, sell enough services and currency to become viable, and get to a financial point where we can pay for expert customisation of the software/app (which is where we need to be).
